Why I’m Starting a Travel Blog

I am probably the last person you would expect to be starting a travel blog. My Facebook activity over the past five years has consisted of a few photos and the obligatory ‘thanks for the birthday wishes’ post once a year. I’m not someone who feels the need to share every small detail, or come to think of it any details at all with the world. I’m starting this blog because I enjoy writing and I have a terrible memory, so I better document this journey in case I forget it all! It is mainly to entertain myself, but hopefully I can give my potentially tiny audience a taste of the travelling life and maybe inspire some people along the way.
